I've recommended this store to a lot of people, but unfortunately the past few visits have progressively gotten less exciting as they make changes. I loved the vibe of rifling through binders on a hunt of whatever I may find. I'd get a few cards, get my 5 random bulk for free, chatted a bit, good time. I understand the changes probably have come through standardization and consequences, but it just feels way less friendly now. I do appreciate that they usually open on time now though. also I love the idea of the spin game, but $20 for a gamble is wild. I would handily do a few spins if it were less with less valuable top prizes.

Insanely knowledgeable, fair buying price and sell price, I've sold several consoles here and think they are amazing. The clerk that's usually there Mason is extremely helpful and the staff there is extremely intelligent and thoughtful about everything they do. Customer service is amazing and unusually for a small business they have a rewards system which is very fair and gives good amounts of points

First time coming out to Corvallis for Kontraband, I’d heard good things about this store. I saw they had some Perfect Order booster bundles for $35, so I jumped and got a Phantasmal Flames ETB and 2 of the PO booster bundles. However, the 2nd bundle was marked for $40 instead. I brought it up to the guy at the counter, who seemed confused how it was marked that way and looked it up online. He, very clearly, said that the bundles are technically selling for $40 right now, but that he would go ahead and charge $35 for both of them. I paid $70 cash and the rest on card. After the transaction, I realized the math didn't add up, and pulled out my calculator. Sure enough, in total I was charged an additional $5. When I brought it up to the same cashier, he backpedalled his earlier statement, and gave some excuse about his “words not working,” and that he meant he was charging $40 for the one bundle because the other one was mismarked. I didn’t want to argue any further, $5 isn’t a huge deal to me. But this being my first experience with the place left a sour taste in my mouth. ITS BETTER THAN GAMESTOP- I used to go to there old location years ago. My first time walking in to there new one was a warm welcome! The workers there are super personable and answer any questions you have. I was in awe of the selection of games/ accessories, and (come to find out) magic and Pokémon cards and other tcg products. Within this summer to next they should be getting more of a selection too! Makes me really happy to see this place grow to what it is now and continue to do so! Highly recommend for gamers and collectors alike!

Wonderful employees and a awesome little game store/card shop. Myself and 9 other friends stopped by to pick up some Pokemon cards for our friends. We were there for about an hour and spent considerable time going through several boxes and picking out different Pokemon cards. The staff was incredible patient with all of our questions and with the amount of time it took to help each person. Thank you both for everything tonight and the incredible service. I will definitely be returning and will recommend this amazing little store to everyone I know. If you are looking for retro video games or collectors cards of any kind, def come check this place out. 10/10 !
